A little bit more on who Sara Devoy is:

“One of my earliest memories is from preschool, feeling out of place in a controlled environment and longing for the freedom I saw outside. This desire to explore led me to train as a Polarity Therapist in 1990, where I met Shirley Ward, who helped me integrate my birth imprints. Moving to Ireland, my maternal grandmother’s homeland, marked the beginning of my deepening journey into pre and perinatal work.

After raising three children on our organic farm in West Cork, I returned to my therapeutic work in 2015, retraining in Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy and studying with experts like Dr. William Emerson and Matthew Appleton. Today, I offer Craniosacral sessions and birth recovery work, helping parents and babies reclaim joy and freedom.

Meeting Kathryn at the APPPAH conference in Colorado last year was a full-circle moment, sparking new collaborations. I look forward to our work with The Flower of Life foundation, feeling nourished by teamwork and shared purpose.”

I am a registered member of the Irish Association of Craniosacral Therapists (IACST), APPPAH, and a qualified Polarity Therapist and Integrative Baby Therapist.

FAQs

  • Around the globe at locations that intersect with prominent ley lines along Earth's man-made energetic grid.

  • Bonding, attachment, and presence. The trauma of not feeling seen or heard, or having eye contact, can be about disconnection. Meeting the eyes of another human being, when we are the eyes and heart for someone, when we are regressing to such early times, we are regressing to one of our most vulnerable moments, to feel the body of another person, feel their eyes, feel their heart when they are attuned to us ….when we investigate the earliest times of our embodiment journey. How we are shaped is universal, and we are not currently being received with open-heart connection. This is how our earliest ego is formed and it’s formed by lack and hunger and deep yearning for connection, because so many of us arrive in the wombs of our mothers, into a world in which we are not received, in a way that our diving soul knows connection. We come from a place of total connection and we arrive on Earth with all of these experiences from separation. So in person we can heal some of these experiences of separation, and this type of present cannot be replicated on zoom.

    • Increased health mentally and emotionally -- particularly in the felt sense of safety and love

    • Increased health physically -- digestion, structural benefits and other body functions

    • Increased health in immune function and vitality

    • Increased sense of peace, feeling grounded and wellbeing

    • Healthier response to stress

    • Increased connection and sense of belonging in relationships

    • Increased clarity in finding one's direction, meaning and purpose in life

    • Ability to move through and transform compulsive patterns which hold us back from what we desire in life.

    • General dissociation, paralysis, anger or anxiety that can feel overwhelming and debilitating

    • Difficulty initiating and following through with our intentions

    • Difficulty in being able to feel love even when it is being expressed to us by others

    • General feeling of disconnection, isolation and not belonging

    • Difficulty in finding one's place and direction in the world -- inner direction, sense of meaning and purpose in life.

    • Difficulty in establishing and maintaining healthy relationships and healthy boundaries

    • Additionally, there are many chronic health conditions that become acute and even debilitating because of all of the above. There is a real biological connection between mind, emotions, nervous system, immune function, structural health and general physiology.

  • In an ideal world, you can do a process group a few times a year.

  • To set yourself up to remain vulnerable because in remaining vulnerable you get to feel the consequences of what you just uncovered. If you can take the day off work the first day back after a retreat is highly recommended. Journaling your thoughts and emotions is very therapeutic. Getting bodywork is very helpful. Pairing up with a person in class to meet a week later to share how you are integrating your process. Ideally, seek therapy with a pre and perinatal somatic therapist.

  • We always establish a safe energetic field that is connected and safe. Check-ins and grounding exercises start off each day. Breaks for self-care and time in nature are built into the schedule. We end the day early enough for you to get dinner and rest.

Friday 12-5pm: Check-in, Group Introduction, Learning Time

Saturday 9-5 pm Experiential Day: Process, Sharing Time

Sunday 9-2pm Integration Day, Sharing, Sound Healing

  • Fill out the Pre and Perinatal History form by interviewing your parent(s) if they are still alive If your parent(s) alive, interview them about your prenatal life and your birth. Try and find out as many details as you can

Set an intention for what you want to invite into your life. Reflect on aspects or essences about your character that you want to understand for yourself. Ask yourself where are you stuck, where are you struggling in life?

  • Ideally you seek a pre and perinatal somatic therapist.
