Foundations of Nervous System Regulation & Craniosacral Skills

This experiential class is designed for anyone interested in developing practical skills for nervous system regulation while building a foundation for learning craniosacral therapy. Through guided exercises, group practice, and shared reflection, participants will explore how to recognize, regulate, and co-regulate states of the nervous system — essential tools for working with yourself, your family, or in professional practice.

Together we will:

  • Learn the hierarchy of the nervous system and how it influences patterns of safety, stress, and connection

  • Explore neuroception — the innate ability to track energy states in yourself and others

  • Practice identifying and naming different nervous system states

  • Build skills for self-regulation and co-regulation with others (family, clients, coworkers, etc.)

  • Engage in somatic-based exercises that cultivate resilience, integration after stress, and deeper presence

This sequence follows the BASIC framework:
Befriend – Attend – Shape – Integrate – Connect

Each gathering provides a step toward more flexibility and coherence in the nervous system, creating a strong foundation for craniosacral therapy training. Attendance is flexible — you are welcome to join the classes that fit your schedule, and notes will be provided if you miss part of a sequence.

By the end of this series, you’ll have a set of embodied tools to navigate your own nervous system with greater awareness and to support healthy co-regulation with others.
